Whether the kitchen is modern, traditional, colonial, country, or formal, the
various door styles offered will certainly please the most discerning eye.  Each
cabinet door style, with the different ambience that the stain color makes,
provides the kitchen with a shade that is most pleasing to the homeowner.
Cabinet woods also become one of the choices in the kitchen design process.
Oak is the most common wood used for solid wood cabinets.  Because of  the
strong "fingerprint" grain in the wood, oak looks best in the country setting.  This
wood ranges in color from light tan, to pink or red, to dark brown.  Oak is very
hard with high shock resistance.

Cherry, is known for its rich warm look. Cherry ranges in color from nearly
white, to light red, to dark reddish-brown.  Black mineral streaks and very
light-to-white gum spots are found in cherry.  It gradually darkens over time, and
the darkening process can occur quickly when exposed to bright light or sunlight.
Cherry hardwoods have a fine, uniform grain and are moderately hard.
Hickory, growing in popularity due to its pleasant, bold grain patterns, hickory is
becoming known for the natural beauty found in is character which includes
occasional dark streaks.  Its color ranges from fairly white to shades of reddish
or dark brown.  Hickory is a very hard with high shock resistance.

Maple, is a hardwood and is known for its fine, uniform grain and texture.  It has
a natural color range from nearly white to reddish-brown.  Mineral streaks occur
naturally in maple and are not considered a defect. With a natural finish it has a
rich honey colored appearance.  Champagne stain adds a subtle, soft countenance
to this fine wood.
Traditional or full overlay (international) doors add their part to the overall
appearance of the kitchen.  Traditional doors offer a more open look with spaces
between the individual doors.  International doors offer the appearance of a
gallery of doors.  The spacing between each door is minimal.  Both presentations
have their distinct advantage.

The vast number of specialty cabinets provide abundant choices to personalize
your kitchen.  A partial list would include:  tambour appliance garage, diagonal

Ornate moldings give your kitchen intricate appeal.  Details, such as edge
treatments of countertops, door pulls and handles, repetitive patterns in the
wallpaper and floor help to achieve a unified effect.
